Fact-checking is at the core of our archival credibility. Every claim published on 1 Nation 1 Rupee undergoes a multi-step verification pipeline before publication.

Verification Status Tiers

Every article and milestone in our archive displays an explicit verification badge:

  • Verified Fact: Substantiated by official government notifications, gazettes, or verified dashboard releases.
  • Official Announcement: Formal policy announcement or cabinet approval awaiting execution milestones.
  • Historical Record: Verified historical milestone recorded in official gazettes or parliamentary chronicles.
  • Reported Claim: Field report or public disclosure under ongoing editorial corroboration.
  • Commentary: Analytical perspective or policy critique, clearly distinguished from raw factual reporting.
Verification Methodology
  1. Identification of Claims: Key figures (such as expenditure, highway kilometers, electricity connections, bank accounts opened) are flagged for independent verification.
  2. Cross-Referencing: Claims are checked against ministry portals (e.g. pmjdy.gov.in, pmkisan.gov.in, nhai.gov.in).
  3. Timestamping: When data updates occur (e.g. quarterly DBT disbursements), the last verified date is explicitly refreshed in Indian Standard Time (IST).
Corrections Workflow

If an error of fact is detected, we update the story promptly with an explicit editor's note explaining what was corrected and when. Readers can submit correction alerts via our Contact Page.
